AERALIS CEO and founder, Tristan Crawford, will be one of three guests from UK defence aviation invited to give evidence at a Defence Select Committee hearing this afternoon.

The Defence Committee continues its inquiry into future aviation capabilities, hearing from BAE Systems, AERALIS and Spirit AeroSystems. Other guests include the Confederation of Shipbuilding and Engineering Unions and Unite the Union.

Tristan will seek to highlight the risk of continuing with a traditional approach to the procurement of the UK’s next advanced jet trainer and urge the MoD to consider a more flexible and holistic approach that together with sovereign development of modularity and a more targeted application of the service delivery model, will transform the future of training and operational support for Combat Air.

The hearing begins today at 14:30, with Tristan due to speak at 15:10.
