MFT more relevant than ever
AERALIS was once again in attendance at the Military Flight Training (MFT) conference, held this week at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, Kensington.
The three-day training conference, is a crucial forum for military flight training stakeholders from across the globe to come together. The relevance of this year’s event was perhaps more acute than ever, as the event organisers summarised so well: “With airspace becoming increasingly contested, near-peer competitors’ training capability is advancing at an unprecedented rate. In the current dynamic and unpredictable security environment, air forces must work together to maximise the proficiency and readiness of military aircrew for the future fight.”
AERALIS Head of Sales Programme, David Townsend, commented: “The MFT conference had the largest turnout yet of over 350 attendees, this demonstrates how critical military flying training is on the global agenda and enabled us to have quality conversations with many international customers and industry professionals.
As the sole programme of its kind, and with the current global lack of fast jet training, AERALIS’s mission is to spearhead a world-leading training capability for an FCAS-enabled future, with our industry partners and of course, the RAF. MFT was encouraging in its focus on transformation in training and procurement – areas that the AERALIS reconfigurable air system proposition addresses directly as we recognise the nation’s challenge of generating sufficient flying training instructors and the need to plan the training solution for 6th generation aircraft.”
