Inspiring the Next Generation at CEMAST for National Apprenticeship Week
As part of National Apprenticeship Week AERALIS Capability Director Anton Burford CEng MIMechE and Head of PLM & Tools Callum Watson MEng MRAeS presented yesterday at CEMAST, the Centre of Excellence in Engineering, Manufacturing and Advanced Skills Training.
They showcased how AERALIS is shaping the future of military aerospace – one that is flexible, digital, and accelerating fast. Our UK‑designed, privately funded fast‑jet programme is set to fly within three years and enter production within five.
At CEMAST, attendees discovered how we are transforming aircraft development through Digital Engineering, along with pioneering digital certification techniques. They also learned how AERALIS and its AERTEAM™ alliance of UK industry partners – including Hampshire‑based StandardAero and Hamble Aerostructures – are accelerating development timelines, reducing costs, and delivering the next generation of future-ready advanced jet trainers.
With National Apprenticeship Week underway, this was a fantastic opportunity for students and early‑career talent to explore apprenticeships and career pathways within this groundbreaking programme.
