On VE Day, we remember the courage, sacrifice and ingenuity of those who served during the Second World War, and the victory in Europe that followed.

For the aerospace and defence community, VE Day is also a moment to reflect on the vital role of innovation, engineering excellence and international cooperation in safeguarding freedom. Many of the foundations of modern aviation and defence were forged during that period, shaping the capabilities we rely on today, and inspiring us all in the defence aerospace community.
